Navy-Penn State Game and Tailgate at Segra Field!

Navy Mens Rugby vs Penn St. 3/18/23 Kickoff at 4:30 pm in the ECS Shield Series at Segra Stadium, Home of the Major League Rugby team Old Glory. Old Glory will be hosting a post-game 'tailgate' following the Navy vs Penn St. match. This tailgate is open to alumni and guests attending the match.

There will be a number of games for the day. To attend the games, you must buy a ticket. Go to https://fevo.me/3JmE2Tp

After the game, Old Glory will be feeding the teams in the VIP area at Segra Stadium. The teams will eat prior to the kickoff of the Old Glory game and stay and watch them face off against the Toronto Arrows.

We did this last year and it was a really great time. The food spread was amazing including a great dessert table. All Navy fans (family, friends, and Alumni) are welcomed to join the tailgate meal at a cost of $25 per person. There will be food and drink provided. 1:30pm - U-19 Vienna Girls vs. Mississauga

3:00pm - U-19 Loudoun Boys vs. Mississauga

4:30pm - ECS Shield Series - Penn State University vs. Navy

Major League Rugby – Nationally Televised Fox Sports 2

7:00pm – Old Glory DC vs. Toronto

Army Navy Old Boys Alumni Match Reminder!

The alumni match and tailgate is looking epic! The team is short in the 35+ age category, so please sign up to play!

Here it comes, Army/Navy Weekend March 24/25 at West Point.

Friday, March 24:

1700 – Tailgate starts at the pitch. This is a cash donation and is a combination event with Army The tailgate will have beer and wine and the cost is $25 donation, which can be a venmo payment. I need numbers to pass on to Army Parent's Club so please let me know as soon as possible. You will need to get a pass for the weekend at the Visitor's Center near the Thayer gate guard house. It takes 15-30 minutes to get this.
1900 – Army vs Navy A-Side match After match you are on your own to socialize, etc. (Army will be feeding the players and coaches.)

Saturday, March 25:

1000 – Arrive at pitch for alumni warm ups. As above, if you haven’t been on the campus, you will need a pass, plan accordingly. We will be playing on Shea Field, the Sprint Football Turf Field. There will be food and Kegs at the pitch and showers available at the pitch to clean up if you are planning on hitting the road after the matches.
1100 – 50+ will play for 30 minutes followed by the 35+ for 30 minutes.
1230ish – Army will play the NY Old Blue in both B-Side and Developmental matches.
1800ish – We will meet for a social. Details will be worked out and sent separately. Email mkmigs@ptd.net if you're interested in the social.

We have enough players for the 50+, but the more subs the better. We could use more for the 35+. This is how we are keeping track of what is happening with numbers.

Even if you aren’t playing or coming, you can jump on. We use this to pass on information about matches, etc. A good way to keep in touch with Navy Alumni.
